Термін український Визначення українське означають, відповідно інституцію, яка компетентна для забезпечення допомоги на тому місці, де відповідна особа проживає, та інституцію, яка компетентна забезпечувати допомогу у тому місці, де відповідна особа перебуває, згідно з законодавством, яке застосовується цією інституцією, або, де така інституція не існує, інституцію, яка призначена компетентним органом відповідної держави-члена.
